Part 1: 1-Hour Buggy Safari Tour

• Convenient Pickup: We’ll pick you up from your Reykjavik accommodation and take you to our base camp.

• Scenic Route & Thrilling Ascent: Ride around the beautiful Lake Hafravatn, tackling a variety of terrains. Ascend to the top of Reykajvik Peak mountain for stunning views of the Hengill mountain range, Hellisheiði geothermal power plant, Faxaflói bay, the capital region, Bláfjöll mountain range, and Reykjavik's iconic house mountain, Esja.
• Relax at the Harbor: After your buggy tour, we’ll drop you off at the old harbor by the whale watching company. Enjoy a selection of charming cafes and restaurants, refuel, and take in the bay views.

Part 2: Whale Watching in Faxaflói Bay

• Set Sail for Adventure: Board the boat for a 3-hour whale watching tour in Faxaflói Bay.

• Passengers (non drivers) can be minimum age 6 years old
• Total duration tour:  1 hour on the Buggy 
• Total duration with Whale Watching: 8 Hours
• This is a combination adventure operated by two trusted partners

IMPORTANT: SINGLE & SHARED RIDER

• Single rider means one person per Buggy 
• Shared rider means two persons per Buggy - minimum 2 persons to book this option
• If there is a odd number of participants for ex: 3,5,7 then one person must be booked as a single rider

• if there is a odd number of passengers (ex 1-3-5) then one person must book the single rider option
• the Buggies can hold 2 persons at once

For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.

For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*

*Note that in the event the client requests a refund for any reason, Tour Desk reserves the right to charge a 3% administration fee to cover costs incurred.
