This tour begins at our meeting point in Vík, where you’ll meet your expert local guide before setting off in a powerful Super Jeep. The drive itself is an adventure, taking you across black sand deserts, glacial rivers, and dramatic landscapes shaped by volcanoes and glaciers. In just 45-60 minutes, you’ll arrive at the glacier area, where we’ll gear up with helmets, crampons, and headlamps before setting off on a short hike to get into the Katla ice cave.
