Sightseeing and water sports experience in Westfjords visiting Dynjandi waterfall

Our journey begins as we venture deep into the remote and unspoiled landscapes of the Westfjords. Our first stop is the magnificent Dynjandi." Re-energized and ready for more adventure, we'll make our way to the beach, a picturesque location with panoramic views of the surrounding fjords. Here, the real excitement begins as we gear up for a thrilling wakeboarding experience. Whether you're a seasoned wakeboarder or a beginner, our expert instructors will provide guidance and support to ensure an unforgettable ride. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you glide across the sparkling waters, mastering new tricks and maneuvers, or simply enjoying the sensation of riding your board.

Throughout the day, our experienced guides will be happy to share fascinating insights into the region's history, geology, and wildlife, enriching your understanding of this remarkable corner of Iceland.

We are happy to present an addon for Summer 2025! We added paddle boards to our gear list and we will be able to offer paddle boarding during this tour. It would look like that: If 3-4 guests would book this tour we would break such a small group in half. One half would wakeboard/waterski, knee board as normal, other could experience paddle boarding in the meantime on their own within linked beach/ocean area.

* It is possible to customize your day and choose a paddle boarding option only. In this case we would skip wakeboarding or waterskiing part and would spend longer time paddle boarding while picking up longer route for an activity.

Duration of the trip: 7 hours. Meeting up in Isafjordur 09:00. Guide will provide required information and gear for the guests. We will drive to the Dynjandi all together and enjoy our day.

Minimum age: 12 years.

Wildlife: During the summer, we can expect to see many sea birds including Oystercatchers, Arctic Terns, Eider ducks.

Group size: We need a minimum number of 2 participants to operate the tour. Maximum group size is 4.

Trip difficulty: Easy.

* Your first-time enjoying water sports and have difficulty standing up on Wakeboard or Water skies? No worries, we will provide beginner friendly knee board which is great to practice first steps.

Guide and wakeboarding/waterskiing lesson. Private transportation. Wetsuit, helmet, live vest, wakeboard, water skies, knee board, specially designed towing gear. Use of snorkeling equipment if preferred. 

Comfortable shoes for a short hike to take a closer look to Dynjandi, warm outdoor clothing, hat, sunglasses, small towel, sunscreen, water bottle, lunch, light snack if preferred.

• Previous wakeboarding, snowboarding, skiing, surfing, skateboarding experience and general fitness increase a chance to stand up and ride on a first trip
• Guests must know how to swim and be comfortable in the water
• We can provide gear for a person who is not heavier than 110 kg and not taller than 195 cm

• Not recommended for people with heart or other health conditions which could challenge a person to enjoy an activity
• If travelers arrives on a cruise ship we can pick them up at the harbor. We are meeting individual travelers, traveling on their own cars or flying to town at a pick up point. Guests arriving by plane can be picked up at the airport to. Please send us a message in advance.

For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.

For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
