Follow the scenic walking trail toward the falls for incredible views, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Sturdy footwear is recommended, as the mist can make parts of the trail slippery, and restroom facilities are available near the parking area.

On the return journey, visit the historic farmstead of Hrafnseyri, nestled along the northern shore of Arnarfjörður. This picturesque site is the birthplace of Jón Sigurðsson, the leader of Iceland's independence movement, and features traditional turf-roofed buildings, a charming church, and the Jón Sigurðsson Museum. Surrounded by dramatic scenery and rich saga history, Hrafnseyri offers a fascinating insight into Iceland's cultural heritage.

During the summer months, weather and road conditions may allow the return journey to follow one of the scenic highland mountain passes, such as Hrafnseyrarheiði or Álftamýrarheiði, offering unforgettable panoramic views across the Westfjords. When these routes are unavailable, the tour returns through the mountain tunnels, providing an equally spectacular perspective.
