About this tour

On the edge of Vatnajökull — Europe's largest glacier — Jökulsárlón is Iceland's largest and deepest glacial lake. Huge icebergs break off the glacier and drift slowly across the lagoon before floating out to sea. Just across the road, Diamond Beach scatters pieces of ice over black sand that shine like diamonds in the light. It's about 380 km from Reykjavík, so it's a long but unforgettable day. With me it's just your group, with stops at the south coast's best sights along the way — and a lunch box so you never go hungry.
