About this tour

We offer exciting boat trips on the lagoon in one of our four amphibian boats. During the excursion, you sail among the huge icebergs in the picturesque scenery of Jökulsárlón. On the boat, you get to taste the 1000-year-old ice and if you are lucky you might even see some seals. The excursion takes 30–40 minutes and includes an English-speaking guide who explains to you the geology and facts of the lagoon. Other languages may be offered upon request.

Good to know

Please Check-In for your tour 20mins before departure, either have your voucher ready in print or on your smartphone. Make sure you account for your travel time to the Glacier Lagoon. The distance from Reykjavik is 400km and from Höfn 80km.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour.

For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.

For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
