About Tides

The restaurant of The Reykjavík EDITION by the harbour, with a menu designed by Gunnar Karl Gíslason of Michelin-starred Dill and run by chef Georg Halldórsson, under a timber coffered ceiling, fluted concrete columns and an alabaster chandelier by Roman and Williams. Grapevine reviewed it as wining and dining in the lap of luxury: lamb tartare with flatkökur, a whole grilled chicken carved at the table, lamb shoulder, stuffed trout, Dover sole, and chocolate ice cream with black pepper and olive oil, backed by a natural-wine list and the GG martini. Breakfast for two around 5,000 kr, from smoked salmon on rye to tarragon granola with skyr. Open all day.
