The French-style bistro on Óðinstorg that Grapevine has called a beloved casual-chic institution with a forget-you're-in-Reykjavík feel: classy enough for a special dinner, casual enough to walk into at noon. It took Best Lunch and shared Best Goddamn Restaurant in Grapevine's 2017 awards on the strength of a faultless fish of the day and quick, unobtrusive service; the brunch does omelettes, eggs benedict, croque-monsieur and a well-regarded bloody mary. Steaks, seafood and a proper cocktail list, mixed at the seated central bar, with a small basement bar downstairs. Their standing advice: split the crème brûlée.
