The Beer Garden, on the ground floor of Fosshótel Reykjavík at Höfðatorg, which Grapevine welcomed in 2015 as a fancy-pants beer hub for serious beer nerds: more than twenty beers on draught, most of them Icelandic craft, plus a long bottle list of ales, stouts and sours, served as flights if you cannot choose. Copper, stone and leather armchairs rather than sticky floors, live jazz at weekends, and bar food built to go with beer. Happy hour runs from three to six every day of the week.
