Winner of “Best Lunch” 2026. Carefully layering slinky slivers of cold cuts with nutty pesto, peppery greens, and most importantly, air. The fluffy, chewy focaccia is excellent on its own, but as a farcita, makes for a light yet satisfying lunch. Bakeries here continue to attempt poor sandwiches at eye-watering prices, but Cibo Amore nails simplicity so well that a drive to one of their locations is well worth it. The award went to all of Cibo Amore’s locations; this is the one on Hamraborg in Kópavogur, open Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00.
